Beau’s Oktoberfest has kicked off its 2018 ticket sales today, with an announcement of the musical acts for this year’s festival. East Coast rocker Joel Plaskett and his band The Emergency will be headlining the mainstage on Friday September 21, and Canadian power pop legends Sloan will be headlining Saturday September 22. Supporting acts include Weaves, The Flatliners, Fred Penner, Dubmatique, The Kingpins, and Wolf Saga.
More than 20,000 festival-goers helped Beau’s Brewery set a new record for fundraising at the 9th annual Beau’s Oktoberfest: $100,205. Held in the village of Vankleek Hill in Eastern Ontario, the festival also set a record for attendance over the two days it was held (Sept. 22-23). In addition to celebrating Bavarian culture, craft beer and community, Beau’s Oktoberfest is the annual signature fundraising event for local craft brewery Beau’s.
Fans of Canadian rock scene veterans Rheostatics will have an extra reason to grab their tickets to Beau’s Oktoberfest 2017. Not only will the band be headlining the all-Canadian musical line-up on the Saturday night of the upcoming two-day festival, but they have also collaborated with Beau’s to create a special beer for the occasion
