 Identifying Common Beer Defects

Beau’s Brewmaster Matt O'Hara, Quality Assurance Manager, Phil Hawken, and Head Brewer, Brian O’Donnell are your beer quality professors in this session where you'll learn how to identify common flavour and aroma defects in beer. Matt, Phil, and Brian will describe the origins of these defects, and the measures that breweries take to prevent them in craft beer.

The rwanda craft brewery project

Beau's announced this week a new project - the establishment of a women-owned and operated craft brewery in Kigali, Rwanda. Rwandan entrepreneur Fina Uwineza will join Beau's co-founder Steve Beauchesne and CFO Tanya Beimers as well as Newlands Systems Inc COO Christian Riemerschmid von der Heide and project  mentor Nancy Coldham of CG Group for this session.  This interesting and informative session will include beer tastings too!
