 Panel host Marybeth Mclaughlin (Beau’s Events and Sponsorships Manager) moderates this group of dynamic women from the craft beer industry as they discuss their career paths.

Featuring Erica Campbell (Society of Beer Drinking Ladies, and Territory Manager for Collective Arts Brewing), Alyssa Kwasny (Brewer at Beau’s), Shelley Beirnes (Technical Sales Manager at BSG Canada) and Mandie Murphy (Co-Founder at Left Field Brewery), as they discuss the various paths that led them to the brewing industry, what their day-to-day workload is like, and ruminate on “where they see themselves in five years."

Dreaming of starting your own brewery someday? Our panel of experts can help.

Featuring Steve Beauchesne and Matthew O’Hara from Beau’s, alongside Garnet Pratt Siddall of Side Launch Brewing, and Matthew Tweedy of Tooth and Nail Brewing Company. Among other topics, this panel will discuss equipment, financing, the first year of production, and choosing beer styles. 

Moderated by Gary Nicholas from the Nicholas Brewing Project, this session features tasty samples from each brewery.

SCHOOL OF HOPS: Understanding IPA

Tracing the history of I.P.A. from England to Vankleek Hill, this session for hop-lovers features a panel that includes brewers Brian O’Donnell (Beau’s), Bryce McBain (Halcyon Barrel House), Greg Nash (Unfiltered) and others to be announced. Taste an I.P.A. sample alongside the brewer who created the recipe and learn how different hop additions create a range of flavour profiles.
