AWARD-WINNING GERMAN-STYLE OKTOBERFEST LAGER FROM BEAU’S AVAILABLE NOW

VANKLEEK HILL – July 29, 2016) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Beau’s All Natural Brewing is bringing back their award-winning Farm Table: Märzen for a four-month feature in Ontario and Québec. Farm Table: Märzen is an orangey-amber 5.5% Oktoberfest lager. Munich malts contribute a satisfying bread and biscuit character to the beer, and German Perle hops lends balancing bitterness; a super-clean lager finish completes the package. Farm Table: Märzen has been recognized with an award in the lager/amber lager category three times at the National Organic Craft Beer Competition.

Märzen is a traditional German lager style that takes its name from the month of March when it was historically brewed. The beer would be lagered in cellars throughout the summer and then released for Oktoberfest celebrations in the fall. The Farm Table Series from Beau’s serves sessionable selections five times a year; beers that are inspired by tradition, and each brewed true to a classic style, such as a Märzen. Fans of the local brewery will remember this recipe from previous years as “Night Märzen.”

Farm Table: Märzen is on LCBO shelves now, and will soon be available at The Beer Store and select grocery chains in Ontario, as well as a variety of Québec corner stores and grocery chains. The beer will also be available on tap at craft-friendly pubs and restaurants throughout both provinces. Residents of the City of Ottawa can place an order through BYBO.ca for home delivery.

Farm Table: Märzen will also be available directly from the brewery from now leading up to Beau’s 8th annual Oktoberfest, to be held Sept. 22 and 23, 2016 at the Vankleek Hill Fairgrounds. Tickets for Oktoberfest – which will feature Farm Table: Märzen along with 15 additional beers from Beau’s and more than 40 guest taps – are available now at beausoktoberfest.ca.
