5 brand new Beers to try along with the Oktoberfest mix-Pack” that will be available at the LCBO.

Lagered Ale • 5.2%

Lug•Tread Lagered Ale is our award-winning flagship beer. Golden-hued, crisp and finely balanced, Lug•Tread is a tribute to the classic beer of Cologne, Germany. Lug•Tread is top fermented (like an ale) and then cold aged (like a lager) for a lengthy period. This imparts light ale notes that are complemented by a lager-like crispness. Lug•Tread displays interwoven malt and hop flavours, subtle fruit flavours and a crisp, lingering finish.

farm table: Märzen

Oktoberfest Lager • 5.5%

Märzen is the traditional Oktoberfest style of beer. This rich malty beer uses just the right amount of noble hops to balance the Munich malts
and features an ultra clean finish to complete the package.

The Tom Green Beer!

Milk Stout • 5.0%

“This is the Tom Green Beer, it’s not the Green Tom Beer.” Beau’s and Canadian actor and comedian Tom Green have collaborated to create The Tom Green Beer! A milk stout, The Tom Green Beer displays flavours of chocolate and coffee, while delivering a creamy, velvety texture, and finishing with a mild sweetness.

Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale

B-Side Brewing Label • 5.6%

Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale is an imaginative interpretation of the Pale Ale style and features a unique northern-inspired medley of ingredients. Sweet Gale, Yarrow, Dried Heather Flowers, Rose Hips, and Cranberries comprise its balanced fruit-and-herb bouquet, while a Maple-Syrup addition rounds out the complex character of the beer. The Nordic pale ale features intricate herbal nuance, moderate hop presence, pleasant dryness, and a crisp finish.

Gigantic: La formidable

b-side brewing label • 6.9%

La Formidable is an American-Belgo IPA, a relatively new hybrid beer style that crosses bold, citrusy American-style hop aromas with the signature fruity, spicy and earthy elements of Belgian yeast.

  Part of the Oktoberfest 4-Pack
Boghopper is an experimental hybrid from the Beau’s brew team: a dark and hazy wheat beer, with an amped up hop presence and locally harvested organic bog myrtle for added complexity. Banana and licorice aromas meld with juicy, fruity hops, and a clove & earthy spiciness jump in mid-palate. Boghopper’s mouthfeel is initially delicate and fruity, followed by assertive waves of herbal tannins. The hop flavour is dominant, and the finish is dry and woodsy.

...And Boom Gose the dynamite

gose • 4.6%

 Part of the Oktoberfest 4-Pack
This hazy, flavourful wheat beer is based on a recently revived German beer style called a gose. Brewed with an addition of sea salt and organic coriander seeds, expect citrusy aromas followed by a pleasant saltiness and a hint of subtle acidity in each sip. The name “gose” comes from a river that flows through the town of Goslar, in Lower Saxony. The saltiness, which typifies the style, is attributable to the mineral-rich water supply in the region.

Weiss o’lantern

pumpkinweiss • 5.6%

 Part of the Oktoberfest 4-Pack
Weiss O’Lantern is a pumpkin-wheat beer, spiced with ginger, cinnamon and orange peel. Orange-hued with a tall creamy head, this fall classic allows flavours of pumpkin flesh, citrus and spice to shine through a full wheat body. There are hints of banana and clove, topped off with a satisfying graham-cracker finish. Fun fact: We put more than 350 pounds of organic pumpkin into each batch of Weiss O’Lantern! Lively, zippy, and darn refreshing.

Haters Gonna Hate

Kölsch bock • 8.0%

  Part of the Oktoberfest 4-Pack
Haters Gonna Hate is an extra-strong interpretation of our flagship ale Lug Tread. Haters is a tribute to the very first batch of Lug, which was accidentally super-concentrated – with super-tasty results! Nine years later, we’ve recreated this happy accident: unfiltered and orange-hued, Haters Gonna Hate has tropical aromas (think mango or papaya), and a mild “cattiness” contributed by the addition of Nelson-Sauvin hops. A clean malt presence allows for balance of moderate-to-high hop bitterness.

(Available exclusively at Oktoberfest)
This historical “mumme” beer style has been brought back to life for Beau’s Oktoberfest! Return of the Mumme is a medieval-era ale with a bouquet of botanicals including red clover blossom, mugwort, dandelion root, black tea, applewood, this beer is spice-forward with balancing residual malt sweetness. Initial aromas of gingerbread and malt, and black licorice rise up from a subtle traditional hop aroma.

one ping only

baltic porter • 7.8%

(Available exclusively at Oktoberfest)
Dark as the stormy Baltic sea, with thick, chewy malts that satisfy, and rich aromas of chocolate, raisins and caramel. Barley and rye malts, oats, blended ale and lager yeasts and some rare Polish Marynka hops create layers upon layers of complexity.

universal gravitation

Apfelbier • 5.1%

(Available exclusively at Oktoberfest)
Universal Gravitation Apfelbier is a rich, malty beer with clean lager character. This ruddy-toned malty lager was enhanced with an addition of hand-pressed cider from more than 200 lbs of certified organic apples, and spiced with a dose of real cinnamon. Mom’s apple pie in your beer glass!

pale ale with fruit • 5.5%

Rumtopf is a German dessert made from a medley of in-season fruit aged in a pot of rum. We did that, then blended it into an ale for a unique, flavourful fruit + beer combo. This pale ale is blended with juices extracted from a bevy of rum-soaked organic fruits, including peaches, pears, blueberries, plums and currants. Expect pleasant fruit-and-malt sweetness and hints of rum.

roggenbier • 6.7%

Rye malt and rare Polish hops lends peppery notes and an herbal earthiness to this roggenbier, which blend harmoniously with hints of clove and banana contributed by the weizen yeast. Kremlock is part of the Pro-Am Series… cheers to Michel Lecavalier, who won the 2014 Beau’s Oktoberfest homebrew contest, earning the prize of brewing his beer in the Beau’s brewhouse for 2015!
